We collect only what we need to review an application or answer an enquiry. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
01Who we are
Next Horizon Capital ("NHC", "we", "us") is a student-led organisation based in Delhi, India, with members at universities around the world. We run this website and decide how the information submitted through it is used, which makes us responsible for it.

02What we collect
We only receive personal information that you choose to send us through one of the forms below, plus limited technical information that any website receives.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as identity numbers, financial account details or health information.
03How we use it
- Applications: to assess your application, contact you about it, and run interviews and selection for the role and divisions you chose.
- Enquiries and founder briefs: to reply to you and, where you ask, to scope and deliver an engagement.
- Keeping the forms working: to block spam and duplicate submissions.
- Understanding the site: to see, in aggregate, which pages are read so we can improve them (see section 05).
We rely on the consent you give when you submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in running recruitment and replying to people who contact us. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 07). Withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.
05Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies of its own, and it does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We use Google Analytics in a restricted mode in which analytics cookies are switched off. In this mode Google receives limited, non-identifying signals about a visit, such as the page viewed, the site you came from, your device type and approximate country, and we see only totals. It is not used to follow you from site to site or to build a profile of you.
Links to other sites, such as LinkedIn, are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.
06How long we keep it
- Applications and CVs are kept for 12 months after the recruitment cycle you applied in closes, so we can contact strong candidates about the next cycle. They are then deleted. If you join NHC, we keep what we need to run your membership.
- Enquiries and founder briefs are kept for 24 months after our last exchange with you, unless they become part of an engagement, in which case we keep them for as long as the engagement needs.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
07Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
- delete your information, or withdraw an application;
- stop using your information where we rely on your consent.
Write to office@nexthorizoncapital.in from the email address you used with us. We will reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
These rights reflect India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights given by the GDPR, including data portability and the right to object. If you are unhappy with how we have handled a request, please tell us first; you can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.
08Security
Submissions travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and are stored in a Google account with restricted access. The internal page we use to review applications only returns data to someone holding a key that is checked on the server, never in the browser. No system is perfectly secure, so if you believe information you sent us has been exposed, please tell us straight away.
09International transfers
We are based in India and recruit worldwide. Our service providers may store and process information on servers outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. By using the forms on this site you understand that your information may be transferred in this way, and we only use providers that apply recognised safeguards to the data they handle.
10If you are under 18
This website is intended for university students and professionals. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to review this policy with you before you submit a form. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we hold information about a child without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.
11Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Significant changes will also be flagged on the site.

Questions, corrections or deletion requests about your information go to one address, and a member of the team will reply.
