Seed fundraising advisory for Peato's Pavbhaji Café: the investor narrative, a bottom-up market sizing, an investor memorandum, and the deck taken out to investors.
Founder Advisory: Peato's Pavbhaji Café · Delivered August 2026 · Deliverables confidential
Peato's is a pav bhaji brand built on a modern QSR format rather than a legacy street-food one. The category is instantly understood by every customer in the market and almost never presented to investors as a scalable operating business, which is the gap the raise had to close.
The brief was the full seed fundraising set: a narrative an investor would underwrite, a market sizing that held up to challenge, and materials good enough to carry a first meeting without the founder present.
Narrative and positioning. The work began with the argument, not the slides. A single-outlet food brand raising a seed round is underwritten on whether the unit repeats, so the deck was structured around format economics and repeatability rather than around the menu.
Market sizing. Built bottom-up from catchment and format assumptions rather than top-down from a national food-services number, because a top-down figure invites the first question an investor asks and does not survive it.
Investor memorandum. A longer-form document behind the deck for investors who wanted the operating detail the slides deliberately left out.
Pitch deck. The seed deck taken out to investors, sequenced so the business is legible before the ask appears.
Everything above was produced for a live raise and belongs to the company. The deck contains the founder's commercial position, its economics and its investor targeting, and none of that is ours to put on a public page. Unlike the investor-side mandates on this site, founder advisory output stays with the founder.
